Devil’s Gulch Mountain Bike Trail
This trail starts out with a steady climb, criss-crossing Mission Creek several times as it heads up the canyon. At roughly 3600′ the real fun begins when switchbacks come into play. The last two miles are brutal on the legs and lungs, but the views of the surrounding peaks are incredible. The trail tops out at around 4400′. After a rest and refuel at the top, take the trail back down and enjoy some of the smoothest singletrack in the state. It’s fast, dry and demanding on the body, but well worth the extensive climb to the top. I would recommend the in and out route of this trail versus taking the fire road up. Take plenty of fluid and energy bars for this one folks!!!
From Wenatchee, go up Squilchuck Road toward Mission Ridge.
Follow the Squilchuck Road one mile past Squilchuck State Park
and turn right on Liberty Beehive Road 9712. Go up this road
about 4.3 miles to the Devils Gulch Upper Trailhead.
